As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Choma has dedicated her more than twenty-five years of experience managing the health care needs of women across their lifespan - with services that includes comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. As a nurse, colposcopist, and lecturer, she has established herself as an expert in the management of abnormal Pap tests, Human Papillomavirus (HPV), and sexually transmitted infections.
Previously, she has provided nursing services in specialized fields, including labor and delivery and practice management. She has also served as a Clinical Adjunct Professor of Nursing at Seton Hall University and has been a Part-Time Lecturer at Rutgers University School of Nursing-Camden. Dr. Choma is a consultant for multiple health care organizations that provide women's health services and has trained health care providers how to perform Pap smears and techniques to address issues with the female lower genital tract. She is also the author of two nursing book chapters on women's health and has co-authored articles on colposcopy standards.
